Travel Privileges
Familiarization (FAM) travel is an essential– and highly enjoyable –part of working at Marlin Travel.
We want our consultants and managers to have first hand knowledge and experience of as many of our destinations as possible. So we generally require at least one FAM per year and provide time off and money to make it happen.
Full-time sales consultants and branch managers are given five business days each calendar year to attend supplier organized FAMs. Part-time sales consultants are given three business days.
A FAM allowance is also provided for each individual covered by the plan and is based on length of service.
Your FAM allowance may also be applied to personal travel that has been sanctioned by your manager in advance.
Travel Discounts
Every employee with six months service is eligible for our outstanding travel discount plan. The plan covers you, your spouse, dependent children, parents, in-laws, siblings and/or one travel companion.

The discount entitles you to the net rate charged to Marlin Travel by the travel supplier. All service fees are waived.
