A native New Zealander I developed wanderlust at an early age with my first plane ride across the Tasman at age 9. My affinity with the South Pacific remains along with any destination that is exotic and far flung. I have enjoyed small group soft adventure journeys to Africa, the Middle East, South America and Asia and most recently returned from my second trip to India – this time to the breathtakingly beautiful south. I have also been on over 25 cruises. When I am not out on safari or climbing Machu Picchu I love to partake of all the cultural and culinary delights that the capitals of the world have to offer. In short after 22 years as a travel professional I still love travel and would love to help you with yours.

§ Italy – steeped in ancient history, stunning art and magical scenery – a cultural overload you will never forget – and Andrea Bocelli – what more can you want!!
§ The Orient – anywhere you go, it’s incredible! Amazing history, ancient cultures, fabulous food and wonderful people everywhere!
§ Africa – Kenya for the safari Animal stew – more wildlife than you can even imagine. Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhinoceros and the Elephant – the Big 5 !!
§ A must see … and you will.
§ Australia, A glorious country where everything is the same … but OH so different. Where they speak English, or do they? Incredible scenery, spectacular beaches, fascinating culture and a wicked sense of humour – I love Australia !

I was born in England and I guess my first adventure was to take a leap of faith and emigrate to this fabulous country. I love Canada and I love travel. I have escorted tours to Europe and specialise in custom travel especially to exotic destinations. To me – travel planning is like a jigsaw puzzle and a detective story all rolled into one – when it all comes together it’s brilliant, never boring and hugely rewarding.
I was intrigued by the BBC list of 50 places to see before you die – and now my mandate is to see them all. To date I am at #34.
